The Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic, consultative partner and trusted advisor to one or more lines of business. The HR Business Partner creates value by understanding the business and implementing world-class people strategies and solutions that deliver on objectives, including shared responsibility for goal achievement. This role will provide strategic guidance and HR thought leadership to its assigned line of business. The role exists to understand and support the business with tailored strategies that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging. This role also focuses on team member engagement, retention, organizational structure and change management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
*This is a remote role that can be situated in Winston-Salem, NC, Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, NC or Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC. While not regular; occasional travel to Wilmington, or within North Carolina for training, project, or stakeholder interaction purposes may be needed*

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field required, Master's Degree strongly preferred.
Experience: Three years of human resource generalist experience and/or experience working with a HRBP team. Experience in managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives. Experience in providing consultative services required.
Licensure/Certification: PHR, SPHR, or other Human Resource Certification preferred.

• Digital Fluency: Proficiency in PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office 365, or similar HCM platforms. Support the HR reporting needs of the team to ensure the Sr. HR Business Partner has the data and reports needed on both a routine and/or ad hoc basis
• Flexibility: Open to change and new information; adapts behavior or work methods in response to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles; effectively deals with ambiguity
• Strategic Consultant: Exercises skill and diplomacy to establish HR as a trusted, credible business partner; creates buy-in with customers. Demonstrates a results-oriented focus for delivering appropriate services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant current local, federal, as well as state regulatory and governing standards for employment
