Overview

The People and Culture Team is looking for an experienced People and Culture Consultant to deliver strategic resolutions to ongoing developments to join our growing team! HR Project Organization experience and Clinical employment knowledge is preferred. Novant Health offers excellent benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth!

 

The People and Culture Consultant will report directly to the Manager of HRSC to support with a variety of organizational priorities and projects, including continuous process improvements, current Sprint team initiatives, responding to trends in market, and merger integration. The People and Culture Consultant must have the ability to plan, execute, manage, and own projects that follow core People & Culture fundamentals and further business objectives. As an internal consultant, the Advisor is expected to provide primary support to system, market, or facility level initiatives autonomously with support and guidance from more senior consultants and Internal Consulting leadership. Additionally, this candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while delivering multiple projects on schedule, adhering to budget and with no errors. This position will be responsible for scaling key initiatives to have visible, weekly momentum and provide timely updates to leadership on project progress. Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, Required. 

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of results-oriented project administration experience with an emphasis on budget management, project management, and merger and acquisition and integration; Individual must have prior HR knowledge and be an SME within HR disciplines, Required.
  • Licensure/Certification: PMP Project Management Certification, Six Sigma Certification

  • Additional Skills (required):
    • Proficient in Microsoft Project and Visio or similar platforms.
    • Identifies, anticipates, and manages through obstacles.
    • Strong analytical, consulting, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Action oriented, willing to do what is needed to move projects forward in an organized manner with consistent execution.
    • Required experience in successful project management and completion.
    • Relationship management skills that include listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change.
    • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and ability to draft clear, concise communications and documents.
    • Well-informed in Human Resources and Healthcare business demands.
  • Additional Skills (preferred):
    • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative drive for reaching the next great idea and exceeding goals.
    • Intellectual depth, moral integrity, personal vision, creativity, leadership skills, fortitude, sincerity, and diplomacy.
