Nursing Support roles may be RN, LPN, CMA, NP or PA. The LPN or CMA would serve in supportive roles and take an assistive assignment in an acute care area. For those who are less than a year out from working at the bedside, may opt for taking an independent patient assignment in Med-Surg or a Critical Care inpatient unit. These roles will serve to support nursing and patient needs during the Pandemic.
Responsibilities:
1. Independent roles: Can take a patient assignment in a med-surg or critical care inpatient unit 2. Supportive roles: Can take an assistive role in an acute care area 3. Pop-up roles: Can help at temporary COVID-19 testing centers, N95 fit testing centers, or vaccine Centers 4. Takes directions from unit leadership and nursing staff 5. Demonstrates standard of performance (ownership, teamwork communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence 6. 1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelors Degree Preferred. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. 2. Licensure / Certifications: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. 3. Experience: 1 year relevant experience preferred.
