Summary:
Performs a diverse variety of administrative duties for the Executive Team using discretion, independent judgment, and senior level clerical skills to ensure outcomes that are consistent with accepted business practice. Has constant interaction with Board of Trustees, medical center staff, physicians, and community leaders.
Responsibilities:
1. Provides assistance and performs duties for the Executive Team to ensure an efficient, cost-effective operation, using independent judgment and discretion in various confidential issues. 2. Communicates effective and appropriately, in written or verbal form, to a variety of requests from internal and external customers which includes Board Members, Administrative Staff, Medical Staff, employees, external professionals, clients, various companies and vendors and patients. 3. Assists the Sr. Vice President/CFO as necessary with major projects & deadlines, being familiar with all projects. 4. Assures efficient use of executive’s time through proper scheduling. Includes coordinating meetings and special functions. 5. Assists the Sr. Vice President/CFO with preparation of NHRMC Board Finance Committee meetings. As well as, attending the meetings to ensure accurate recording, transcription and distribution of the minutes. 6. Design & composition of letters of confidential nature to Board, staff, and external professionals. 7. Manages office efficiently by handling all contacts, processing all paperwork in an orderly manner, maintaining adequate filing systems and ordering department supplies as needed. 8. Handles dissemination of all financial data to Board, staff and external agencies. 9. Supervisory responsibilities for the Finance Support Staff that assist the direct reports to the Sr. Vice President/CFO as needed. 10. Reviews and monitors the budget function for the operation of the office. 11. Demonstrates Standards of Performance (Ownership, Teamwork, Communication, Compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. 12. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Education: Essential: * High School Diploma Other information:
1.Education:High school diploma. Additional training in the following areas helpful:(1) year of business college (secretarial) or equivalent experience in executive assistant position which includes finance background. 2.Licensure / Certifications: Notary Public Desirable. 3.Experience: 3-5 years experience as an executive assistant. Accounting background strongly preferable. |
