Works under the direction of the CAP Manager to provide support for CAP Services and Team. Assists with the requirements of the CAP services related to charge posting, tracking, medical record management , and data collection in addition to the more traditional clerical support processes.
1.Prepares the medical record to be sent over to HIM department for scanning and storage.
2.Completes internal client/responsible party customer service surveys, using Midas and making appropriate reports to staff and advisory board.
3.Enters patient information into department computer systems and assists with registration of clients, re-registration and maintenance of CAP client’s accounts in IBAX.
4.Requests medical records from the Medical Records for appeals and DMA quality assurance efforts.
5.Charge posts all departments charges for case management and wavier services.
6.Assists in maintaining the CAP policy book, education book and other resource tools as needed
7.Completes a variety of department specific clerical tasks such as mail, faxing, copying to assist with optimal department safety and functioning.
8.Performs key administrative functions not limited too, such as CAP reports, charts, spreadsheets, allotment boards, etc..
9.Appropriately communicates information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
10.Organizes and performs work effectively and efficiently.
