What You'll Do

Summary:

The HR Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the HR Division’s research, development, and implementation efforts. Ensures that related business and organizational goals are achieved. The HR Project Manager will manage reporting and communications on all projects and requires in depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. Works under general supervision of the Director, HR Operations. May assist other members of the team with problems as appropriate. Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications. Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints. Attends calls, meetings, and works with all departments, and external collaborators to clarify and document functional requirements for projects.


Responsibilities:

1.Leads an interdepartmental team to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency. Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.

2.Attends relevant project meetings and takes detailed notes, clarifying requirements of each project.

3.Utilizes appropriate software to track projects, project budgets, resources and timelines.

4.Assists in reviewing and processing services contracts and supporting HR Division Forecasting.

5.Communicates to other departments and external entities, acting as a liaison with project leaders.

6.Analyzes requests for support that require resource changes and recommends appropriate changes.

7.Responds to requests from HR staff and leaders needing project-specific defined priorities, answering questions and resolving problems.

8.Assures that all projects are properly documented prior to, during, and following implementation, and collects and contributes information as required for project reviews. Ensures that all documentation has been submitted to the appropriate repository.

9.Actively participates in continuing education opportunities so as to maintain a current familiarity with emerging technologies

10.Acquires a detailed working knowledge of necessary software packages and applications (written or purchased) to assist the HR Division in the most efficient use of these applications.

11.Focuses on administering continuous improvement activities that will drive Lean methodology and Lean quality tools throughout the organization

* Bachelors Degree

Other information:

Licensure / Certifications: PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable. 

Experience: Three years of progressively responsible project leadership, systems integration experience, preferably within a Human Resource department or healthcare environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. d. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. e. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. f. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or technologies needed to support responsibilities 

Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. 

Performs other duties as assigned. 

Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
