What You'll Do


Manages, supervises and coordinates all functions and activities related to the operations of physician practices, complex management responsibility (i.e., billing and collecting), and/or special projects, (i.e. practice start up), as directed by Administration. This is an experienced level practice management position with a high level of complexity. Practice scope is complex for number of providers, staff and revenue with a larger geographical area and possible practices in 2 or more locations.


Essential Functions • Leadership: Exhibits leadership skills. Supervision and coordination of all daily activities at all clinics. Responsible for personnel management in accordance with organization personnel policies. • Financial: Budget development, implementation and monitoring. Responsible for bottom-line financial performance of practices, and keeps revenue and expenses in balance. • Operations: Coordinates and communicates with staff and physicians to ensure quality patient service is provided. Incorporates clinic policies and procedures in daily operations. Maintains and demonstrates professional competency according to department policies, procedures and protocols. Complies with organization and department policies and procedures. • Teamwork: Work within a team to achieve patient and team goals. Share and initiate regular and professional communication with co-workers. Facilitate and participate in regular staff meetings. • Quality Improvement: Identifies opportunities to improve processes based on feedback from the staff and customers. Monitors quality of core processes in the department. Collaborates with other departments or disciplines to achieve desired outcomes. • Leader Competencies: Instills shared vision and purpose. Drives value-added results. Creates and sustains remarkable leaders. Inspires people to achieve. Communicates and builds relationships. Embodies servant leadership. • Human Experience: Provide timely feedback and coaching to team members to address episodes of poor communication or recognize remarkable efforts. Intentionally round on team members and patients in an effort to identify system barriers that hinder a remarkable patient experience. Foster a remarkable patient experience by making the Always Events and patient experience a daily focus, partnering with clinic innovator, sharing patient experience outcomes and supporting the team as they meet the needs of patients. Support diversity and inclusion by engaging the strengths and talents of each team member to ensure a strong organization. Share key learnings from system leader meetings with team members to keep them informed and connected to the organization. Clearly articulate the mission, vision and values and connect them to decisions in order to explain the WHY. Unite the team around the people credo by creating a shared vision where all people are important, and differences are celebrated.

Position Requirements


* Bachelors Degree

4 Year / Bachelors Degree Five years of leadership experience with two-plus years of practice manager experience Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques. Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and develops and maintains skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor quality control standards. Ability to communicate clearly.
