Summary:

The Events Liaison, Mobile is responsible for driving to multiple community-based locations for community engagement initiatives. The Events Liaison, Mobile will support event coordination and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and provide follow through on key community events requiring the mobile medical unit. Responsibilities:
1. Process: Participates in the provision of direct patient care and support activities. Drives, maintains, and sets up mobile healthcare vehicle at clinic sites. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey, receive, interpret, and document information for reports, correspondence, instructions, etc. Interviews patients to obtain necessary information for registration and billing as required; reviews personal, financial and insurance details with patients; registers patients for appropriate health services. Assists medical staff with patient coordination and monitoring flow of patients. Oversees patient waiting area at mobile unit events. Ability to adhere to project timelines to meet deadlines. Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 2. Operations: Operates standard office equipment. Secures vehicles in established parking areas. Picks up and stocks supplies for mobile unit operation (i.e. rubber gloves, forms, etc.). performs routine safety checks; identifies vehicle maintenance needs. Manages vehicle’s waste water systems including dumping at waste water facilities. Refuels vehicle, inspects condition of vehicle and reports maintenance needs. Keeps interior of vehicle clean and orderly. 3. Communication: Supports the coordination of community outreach activities. Education: High School Diploma/GED REQUIRED Experience: Operating knowledge and skill in driving large vehicles to include ambulances, fire trucks, buses or trailers PREFERRED Licensure/Certification/Registration: Commercial CDL; Basic Cardiac Life Support PREFERRED Additional Skills Required: Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations and facilities as needed. Ability to work both independently without close oversight, and as a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels within and outside Novant Health. |
