Novant Health is hiring for an EP Lab registered nurse for the day shift for our New Hanover Regional Medical Center location in Wilmington, North Carolina.  We’re offering up to a $15,000 sign-on bonus as well as $7,500 relocation. 

  • Schedule: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per 2 weeks, 8-10 Hour Day shift (7am-6pm)

We’re seeking a registered nurse to join our tight knit team to support and perform diagnostic and interventional testing of the rhythm and electrical components of the heart. Working in collaboration with other nurses and techs, this individual will assist with pre and post procedure care, as well as maintaining continuity of care for patients while they are in the electrophysiology lab.  

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Assists and educates patients undergoing electrophysiology study of the heart. 

  • Performs non-surgical procedures and diagnostic testing of the electrical components of the heart. 

  • Monitors hemodynamics during procedures. 

  • Assists as scrub to the physician during procedures. 

  • Think critically and have knowledge of cardiology. 

  • Work autonomously in a critical environment. 

Job Qualifications:  

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. 

  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. 

  • BLS certification required. 

  • One-year relevant or adjacent experience preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
