Summary:
The Assistant Practice Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction. The Assistant Practice Director is a resource for designing, implementing and supporting corporate tools and initiatives. The Assistant Practice Director is responsible for achieving outcomes consistent with the organizational mission, philosophy, goals and objectives of Carolinas Healthcare Associates. The Assistant Practice Director must maintain professional competency in the application of the principles of practice management, promote a safe environment, and perform all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Responsibilities:
1.Acts as liaison between administration, staff, physicians, and external agencies operating within the Network. 2.Leads in the design and implementation of a Service of Operational Excellence program for the entire Physician Network. 3.Oversees the Organization in the development (and subsequent training) of various programs, including, but not limited to Employee Satisfaction and LEAN events. 4.Works to obtain cost savings by investigating and initiating group purchasing discounts. 5.Promotes education growth and development of the staff. 6.Communicates pertinent information vertically, horizontally and laterally. 7.Formulates, interprets, and implements management policies. 8.Serves as a valuable resource for miscellaneous projects at the Network and Practice level.These may be operational or financial in nature. 9.Provide ad hoc practice management services as needed by the Practices while developing the skills to independently manage all aspects of a medical office. 10.Maintains confidentiality regarding patient visits, medical information, other employees and clinical business. 11.Works with Corporate Compliance to educate physicians and staff on all compliance initiatives in accordance with CHA and applicable NHRMC policies. Self-starter that is able to balance varying needs of a complex organization. |
