Summary:
Coordinates and performs maintenance and operations of building grounds and utilities systems to ensure the best care and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
1.Ensures compliance with standards set by accrediting bodies, NFPA, state and local codes. 2.Prioritizes daily tasks assignments to ensure patient care matters resolved first. 3.Completes service requests. 4.Performs and completes special projects/assignments. 5.Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications. 6.Estimate cost/purchase materials for projects. 7.Performs preventive maintenance on equipment including testing new equipment before it is used to insure safety policies met. 8.Dismantles equipment and devices to clean, repair, and install new parts using various tools, ladders, etc. 9.Competently performs other maintenance related tasks as required, including being on call nights and weekends as scheduled. 10.Keeps shop and work area in a neat and orderly fashion. |
