Drives operational initiatives that will ultimately improve talent acquisition effectiveness and candidate experience and to support the team to attract, source, and hire diverse clinical talent that reflects the communities that Novant Health serves. Responsible for many key initiatives for programs and creates business value through processes, infrastructure, and partnerships across the organization. Creates and implements scalable, repeatable processes across the Novant Health system that allow for consistency and improved operational effectiveness, as well as focus on optimizing existing programs and processes. Leads programs that are data-driven and guides change management across the organization. Builds structure into processes and works with the recruiting leadership team to provide the analytical support needed to support strategic initiatives.


Responsibilities:

Essential Functions • Works closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations. • Manages the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping leaders hire quality talent. • Grows and fosters high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive candidates to actively source from. • Continuously partners with recruiting team and department leaders to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies. • Remains active with current job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create and release job descriptions and announcements. • Leadership: Translates the organization’s mission, vision, and values to align and optimize the activities of transitioning nurses at Novant Health. Role model values in all interactions. Maintains an environment that supports and respects diversity, inclusion, active communication, and regular dialogue with team members. Ensures a highly collaborative relationship with nursing and other clinical leaders. Evaluates programs according to key metrics, including participant satisfaction, leader satisfaction, and vacancy/ turnover rates. • Business Acumen: Maintains organizational policies and procedures, including rules of conduct. • Quality Improvement: Demonstrates knowledge of process improvement principles and applies appropriately to improvement activities. Implements the strategic plan for nursing recruitment at Novant Health. Evaluates core processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Position Requirements

* Bachelor of Nursing

Other information:

Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required BSN required

Experience: Minimum four years nursing experience in acute care, to include screening, interviewing, and hiring practices required. Previous experience in recruitment or Human Resources preferred.

Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.

Licensure/Certification Type (ex NP, RN, CMA): Current RN licensure in appropriate state required. Board Certified in nursing leadership preferred.

Creative thinker. Working knowledge of applicant tracking system. Ability to influence people, along with people skills to achieve outcomes that result in a win-win for applicants as well as the departments served. • Current and future trends/practice in area of responsibility; regulatory and governing standards, policies and procedures; information systems and software used in area of responsibility; equipment used in performing assigned duties; application of safety and infection control policies and procedures; teambuilding, conflict management, and interpersonal relationship skills; decision making, project leadership and consultation, delegation and communication skills; understanding of customer needs and expectations and knowledge for improvement to exceed customer expectations; ability to write effectively. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
