What You'll Do

Summary:

Works under the supervision of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or Chief Information Officer (CIO) to manage, control and coordinate the operation of Information Services functions, sections, or cost centers. Responsible for projects, implementations and maintenance activities associated with assigned area(s). Coordinates with other IS functions, sections, and cost centers to meet service level commitments and provide stable Business System operations. Manages responsibilities in such a way as to keep company information available, secure, private, integral, and recoverable. Performs other duties as assigned.


Responsibilities:

1. Manages IS Business Systems and provides appropriate leadership to personnel staffing assigned areas of responsibility.

2. Communicates effectively in order to provide optimal project coordination and on-going support of assigned information systems.

3. Oversees activities of Coordinator and staff to ensure customer service goals are met.

4. Follows process for change control that includes formal request, review and impact analysis, assignment or priority, scheduling, backout, and management approval.

5. Carries out priorities established by CISO and CIO and complies with IS policies, procedures, standards, and practices.

6. Ensures timely resolution of problems, adequate availability of business systems, and overall protection of information assets.

7. Assesses, plans, coordinates and evaluates appropriate training and continuing education of employees.

8. Stays abreast of current and emerging technologies and determines applicability to NH NHRMC goals and strategies. Provides vision and planning for future strategies.

9. Develops, administers, and monitors assigned budget(s). Approves invoices and manages expenses.

10. Hires, leads, mentors and coaches’ staff to ensure an engaged, high-performing team. Provides appropriate, timely, fair, clear, and accurate written employee evaluations.

11. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.

12. Prioritizes efforts to align with organizational priorities while maximizing quality and efficiency,.

13. Performs other related duties as required.

Position Requirements

Credentials:

Education:
Bachelors Degree

Other information:

1. Education: Bachelors degree required. Will consider an Associates degree with seven years of work experience in a complex information technology environment.

2. Licensure: None Required.

Experience: Required: Bachelors degree with three years of related work experience in a complex information technology environment (five years preferred). Proven knowledge of project management.
