Summary:
The Critical Care TransOps Specialist works in collaboration and synchrony with Operational Team for 7336,7350 &7370 to support the daily operational, logistical and employee needs. The Critical Care TransOps Specialist works closely with the Logistics Coordinator and Program Manager to maintain fleet, equipment and uniforms and monitors and maintains records for performance validation and measurement purposes. Responsibilities:
1.Ensures that VitaLink Fleet and satellite bases are in a constant state of readiness and that adequate equipment, tools and supplies are available/on-hand to successfully complete the Department’s mission. 2.Responsible for daily review of assigned departmental and vehicle checklists and vehicle problem reports.Provides appropriate response, action and loop closure on submitted reports regarding vehicles. 3.Coordinates with Operational Leadership, the movement of vehicles/equipment through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and station supply restocking. 4.Maintains accurate documentation/records pertaining to vehicles, uniforms and equipment. 5.Works closely with the Program Manager to ensure regulatory compliance with all matters relating to fleet operations, purchasing of vehicles, equipment, supplies, uniforms, etc. Explores and recommends new products based upon industry innovations. Validates cost effective purchases. 6.Functions as a resource for dissemination of new information and problem resolution as it pertains to logistics/operations as directed. 7.Supports new employee orientation process with regard to vehicle operations, uniforms and equipment. 8.In cooperation with the Logistics Coordinator, develops and maintains departmental equipment, supplies and provisions for disaster planning as well as functioning as a logistics resource during disasters or other large scale events. 9.Actively participates on assigned departmental and hospital committees. 10.Remains available for on-call assignment and responds to major incidents as assigned. |
